We plow plant sugar beets, and dry beans, used to do corn as well. 6 bottom CIH 165 roll over with an ACE plow packer pulled behind. It does a good job, just plow and wait a couple days for it to "grey off" and plant right into it. The packer has solid front, and crow foot rear rollers. If your ground is really heavy it probably wont work. Some guys are also using Sterling packers, as I don't think Ace is in business anymore.
