Not sure about your statement that canola grower are more progressive
that other farmers. The canola seed companies are more aggressive
in selling new varieties. Over the years that have been some
very costly cons, with new varieties, by read company data. The
problem is one,two or even three years doesn't not make good
data. The advantage of the prairie reports show which varieties do
best in all weather conditions. Even to look at your data from last
year as a decision for next year is poor planning. By the time
you get valid data the variety has been deleted.
