one way i like to look at it is not just net per acre, but % return on money. say you make 100 ac but it cast you 500/acre, or you make 75/ac and only spend 250/acre which is better? the other thought is, the first Bushels are the cheapest, but as long as as the bushels are padying for the them self, money is money
