Around here there are a handful of guys who never fertilize, rarely spray, and plant wheat fencerow to fencerow year after year. In the best years they grow 20 bushel wheat. Yet, they are still in business year after year when some others have gone broke. Is there a lesson here? I don't know but makes a guy wonder how they survive when the guys who do everything right and make the huge yields go under.
