Newfane NY | With growing conditions different each year, how do we know what we did in 09 will yield the same results in 10?
I have asked many top tech farmers what the payout is for RTK, VRT, and have not really got an answer. "It works good and saves me money" is the most common answer.
Now I see we have a sprayer system that can tell where the weeds are and turns the tip on and off so you only spray the weeds and not the bare ground........for $66,000 for a 90' boom. Roundup at $2.50 and Ignite at $7.00 per acre..........THAT is a long payback.......in my book.
But A-B GPS is a profit center for my farm as I can pay back in less than one year on the fertilizer spreader and all my sprayers.
