central illinois | For the last few years we have been alternating 16 inch sweeps and spikes on our chisel plow, but since all the tillage finished I think we might just put 16 inch sweeps on and try that. I am hoping that at some point the soil will be dry enough to do that. On the chisel plow we have a mounted 7 ft chain harrow which in the fall levels the ground good enough to be able to spray on without any tillage in the spring. | |
