Depending on your NH3 rig, u might be able to pull through the stalks then plant. We have a Blue-Jet with shanks every 18" and coulter run ahead of the shank. We pulled NH3 in on the angle and planted 4-5" off of the old row. Work good except for the N burn, but that was because it was wet all last spring.
