Southeast Colorado | I agree with your conclusion, however, since I know that your nitrogen should be applied before jointing, how much longer should a person wait? Especially when rain events are so unpredictable here. A good portion of my fields are under limited sprinkler irrigation so I have flexibility in timing my nitrogen application. I guess with what I'm seeing I don't need any more tillers so I just need to apply the maximum nitrogen at the latest time interval. When should that be? With the possibility of jointing in as soon as 2 weeks, I'm guessing that might be now?? | |
