North central Iowa | 60K bu bin is about the most cost efficient size you can put up, in our area a complete bin put up runs about $1.20/bu. The bin programs are questionable they lock you into alot of things price and delivery points. They bases those programs off of themselves selling calls. You can do it yourself buy selling calls for Dec 07,08,09 which you could sell about a $4.00 or 4.20 call for .40 cents and would have your bin payed for if you would be happy with a $4.00 ceiling for those 3 years. Just a thought , someone let me know if I'm way off in my thinking. | |
