I did post elsewhere.....that reminds me to check them too :-). To repond to the questions.....

1) I'm in Western IL close to river terminals. Don't think I mentioned Iowa.
2) Grow alot of 111-114 day corn.....begin harvest at 18-19% straight to bin (no drying). Generally miss early basis then.
3) Tend to be fairly aggressive with selling. Have upwards of 60-70% sold by May/June.
4) I know little of the programs and am leary of the idea frankly. I just know it is an option out their and wonder if there is a way of "playing my cards right" to not get burned. I just was wondering if it is possible to make them [bin programs] work in my favor. My thinking is though, Cargill wouldn't be doing it if they weren't coming out ahead.
5) Basis.......export market driven. Have had good luck w/HTA's.
