Kansas | I want to thank everyone for their input on this issue. After a number of phone calls to the "Alliance", listening to their threats if the contract wasn't signed, & asking hard questions about the legality of their approach. It was finally agreed that I can keep my grain in open storage with the privledge of paying the $.04/bushel/mo storage fee.....
I still strongly feel that their approach was extortion at best, & really appreciated your points reinforcing the con's of these Delay Pricing Contracts. Your feedback was instrumental that I was doing the right thing to push back.
Thanks again;
Myze
