LaSalle, Ontario, 10 miles south of Detroit Mi.

the link should show you what a wagon is.

I have a small farm 120 acres. I grow 40 acres of winter wheat, 40 of soybeans and 40 corn.
I run a JD 9400 (purchased used) and haul the grain back to the homestead to store the grain in my bins.
I know that I could probably have it custom harvested cheaper but I feel when you figure that I choose the day and time to harvest I have my land and crop in my best interest and that to me is also money in the bank. I wait for the land to be fit not tearing it up in the mud and the grain to be fit getting the best quality possible these little things also make me money. when the price is right the grain is sold to the co-op
they cover the cost of hauling it to the end user.
I think you need to decide if you want the responsibility to run your own combine. If you are mechanically inclined which I think you stated you are then jump in with both feet. The freedom you will have to harvest on your own terms will be worth it.
Good luck in finding a good used machine there are some out there.
