Do you mean your expenses per acre aren't near that high? If they aren't, how am I that far off? You said the combine was priced reasonably, but I was a bit high on the header. Even if I dropped to $15,000 on the header, or even $10,000 the cost per acre would be very similar. It's just that the cost of the money invested in equipment would drop between 400 and 800 dollars in a year.
