I don't think you followed what I was saying, I did not charge anything for hauling, I thought I made that clear, that was a wash!  I just charged for the interest on the combine, cart, bagger and the fixed costs such as fuel etc. 

It sounds to me that you should just keep doing what you are doing.  You keep putting down owning your own machine.  My opinion is purchase the combine, find a retired person to help, harvest when you want, and put an extra few bucks in your pocket.
