NC Iowa | a jd 643 head might cost more, but after seeing the parts my neighbor put into his ih head, i'am glad i have a jd. very trouble free for me.
figure about 5-6k for a good 643. if you look, you can find a very good 220 flex bean head for around 1k. i think the 220 is way better than any 1k ih bean head you will fine.
i don't have a dog in the fight, as my combine is the dealers now, but i would like to see you get off to a good start.
i like your 'rather do it myself' attitude. i always had the notion that i would never get rich if i hired out jobs i could/should be doing myself. | |
