| The gross of the farm stays the same regardless of crop rent percentage, but I did find out that the lawyer was basing his 10% off the Iowa land (190 acres) and not charing anything for the Missouri land (300 acres). So for last year the total management fee was around $30K for 490 acres. After digging into all that, I am not worried about the fees, lawyer said we would charge me 5% of gross to manage the Iowa land if I stick with him.
