Here are the test results that you posted with my comments.

Testing AC volts with a digital multimeter from Line to LP line gives 120 volts.

That is normal and good. The LP line is grounded, so your test is the same as reading from line to ground, 120v is expected. What would be concerning is testing AC volts with a digital multimeter from ground to LP line and reading volts. Did you possible mis-type something?

We also tested every circuit to see if one of them was shorted to the LP line, but got no change.

That is normal and good, no circuit is shorted to the LP line.

Only breaker that trips is the GFCI when testing continuity from Line to gas line.

That is normal and good. A GFCI should trip when you test continuity from line to ground, and your gas line is a ground.



Is it possible that you mistyped something? Everything seems normal and good.
