| LP powered range stopped heating, so troubleshooting the issue found the range chassis was electrified. Testing AC volts with a digital multimeter from Line to LP line gives 120 volts. LP runs underground from tank to front of house to range, tankless water heater, and furnace. Electric service comes in front of house about 12 feet from the LP entrance. Electric meter/service shut off is grounded with the ground running along the length of the pole. There is also a ground rod where service enters the house. Photo shows LP entrance behind the bush and electrical entrance at the double throw switch.
With power removed from all 3 appliances, LP line still is electrified. We also tested every circuit to see if one of them was shorted to the LP line, but got no change. Only breaker that trips is the GFCI when testing continuity from Line to gas line.
Any ideas what could be causing this? Local HVAC pro is booked until the first of next week.
