nc ks | Check price between them. If much different I'd get just the chains. Two guys and 3/8 impacts takes about 20 minutes to change out if you are wanting to get back to the field. In the winter might take an afternoon. Lol
$570 difference at Shoup for just chains and chains with slats.
The only negative I can see to putting your own slats on is you have to remove the chain in the combine so you can't just hook the new one on and roll it in as the old one comes out. If you are working on the drive aprockets, this negative is mute
