Now go buy the chains and swap the slats so you really have a backup? Anymore, I like to have all the critical parts I can in stock just in case. You never know anymore when you need what should be a common part and they are unobtainable. Prices probably not going down ether? I like the just chains because they are easy to store in the combine parts boxes vs. a already assembled feeder chain.
