We have many sthil saws but our 250 is the last saw I grab when I need one it starts good when cold but shut it off and try to start it again when it's warm good luck.. you'll be cussing till the cows need milked I don't kno what it is but I'd rather run the 460 all day than grab that pos 250. My opinion get a different sthil
