Subject: RE: Floor heat boiler, how big

Nw Iowa
That would be my concern, water in system would not have anti freeze stuff in it. So heat exchanger makes sense. If it gets too complicated though, just back to boiler and very small water heater, May be alittle more upfront cost, cheaper to run long term? You can buy these boiler panels complete for 2000$ or so, everything pretty much there, vs bigger water heater, pump, some valuing switches etc. I will talk to plumber this week so appreciate everybodies advise. My wife and I would like to do alittle more traveling in the winter so want something that doesn’t need to checked but once a week and if there is a problem May be able to wait until I get home. Had another building I had floor heat in, accidentally shut off boiler rather than well breaker, we were gone alittle over a week in a Jan and came home , still 48 degrees inside.
