Not much. I think somewhere between 25 and 35 btu/sq ft is about the max you can push through a floor with normal design. Even at 80% efficiency that would be less than 10k btu.

If you want to run the floor heat, I would look for a little electric boiler (Menard's smallest is 24k btu), one circulator pump and a line voltage thermostat to turn the boiler and pump on.
Don't even consider gas. It is going to short cycle like crazy and be a major pain.

Option 2: just install some electric baseboards.

Option 3: I would strongly consider a mini split and you would have AC in addition.

I am saying this with a love of radiant floor heat. I have it in my mud room and garage at home as well as my shop. However, if you don't have it in the entire shop, I would strongly consider the benefits of the mini split.

We "heat" 10x10 control rooms in confinement livestock buildings with a 4' baseboard heater. It isn't warm enough to read the paper, but the water doesn't freeze.
