First thing to do is see if it is covered under warranty. I took a vehicle to a dealership for what ft like warped rotors. Manufacturer optioned Brembo brakes. 30k on them. Dealer in Florida says warped and need new pads zero warranty. Never put a dial indicator on the rotors. I don't bite and take to a local dealer with exact same complaint. They check and say rotors just barely have any run out but will get new ones under warranty.
Probably get flamed here, but kind of hard to get pissed at the dealer in Florida that doesn't know you from Adam telling you no warranty when most dealers have to eat labor on warranty work. |
