Do they want food or energy? We’re losing good productive farmland to something that could be put on mountains, on the ocean, in the deserts, in wetlands, on rooftops, on the tundra, basically anywhere that isn’t tillable. Shouldn’t this be common sense? Gosh, I think I just fixed that issue.




It’s not been common sense for the last 150 years, why start now? Proper land use planning is not exactly humankind’s strong suit.
