| I use to work for a large excavation company (10-50 million dollar jobs) . They paid me well but it was maid clear if your not on your machine someone else will be tomorrow. This was 2005-2010 time frame . What I learned from that was you are just a # on the payroll and it’s lots of fun when your the guy making millions. I wasn’t late to work and did my job but you couldn’t pay me enough to go back. It’s not all about $ it’s about having a life. I know plenty of excavators and farmers that will die doing it and have nothing to show other than a pile of $ which is cool but I have never seen a brinks truck chasing a hurst to the cemetery. I use to be that guy and if that’s what you want good for you but chasing that $ when you get pennies and the rest goes elsewhere isn’t for everyone. | |
