I live just south of a small town. They hired a company to find a big leak that they couldn't find (half a million gallons of water per day). I believe they used some kind of listening device to pinpoint the leak. Something like this: https://www.amazon.com/PQWT-Outdoor-Detector-Middle-Detecting/dp/B08...

Probably cheaper to just replace the pipe.
