We had a slow leak 30 years ago that wasn't showing its self for some reason. Our plumber finally connected an air compressor to the water line and turned it on. A few hours later, we had water bubbling up above the leak. Good luck!

I did exactly this same thing a couple of years ago. After I got the air compressor hooked up to the water line close to the well, I walked outside and could hear gurgling directly above the leak. The water never came up. The guy with the excavator could not believe it. He started digging and we found the leak.
