This is off subject but a thought I had the other day. Our roadsj are getting unreal rough and I think the day will come when speed limits will be at how much damage you want to do to your vehicle. You wont be able to run the speed limit.
After a rural highway’s surface had been neglected and became particularly dangerous, it took pointing out(to the state) the school buses and families which used this lifeline to communities every week. Exact instances of problems involving vehicles traveling on this very highway were given to stress just how dangerous the situation was. An early response to my query was made by a state employee. They promptly suggested I call 911 to report emergencies. I stressed that the “emergency” was their wrongful neglect of an important rural highway and that fatalities could easily occur because of it. The state immediately got several employees out and started making repairs.
