| Thanks! Yes, central KS is a little farther than I'd like to go, but, if I get desperate enough... Then it becomes a math problem, cost of fuel vs cost at the JD dealership!
The auction site had the standard disclaimers about 'buyer beware, bid at your own risk, no warranty express or implied, etc.' The description was general enough (and the tractor is otherwise in pretty good shape for its age and use, 7200 hours) that I don't think I would have any leg to stand on going that route...
It just goes to show if something is too good to be true, it probably is. That said, now I have it, do I just lose that money, or put more into it so I have something to show for it. I'll put the money into the tractor so I can have/use it, just want to find a good shop to do that!
