Maybe I'm not understanding the picture correctly. Is that whole burnt orange area on the right from the full rate Buctril? The rows looks like they are toasted as well. Did you want that or is Buctril supposed to kill canaryseed.
I think in the right conditions, cutting rates with a spray air can work. However, I'm glad almost all my neighbors don't have one. Any wind and they spray my field and theirs at the same time! We have one neighbor that has one and he has very clean fields. I have also seen very dirty fields with Sprayair owners. I think any sprayer can work well if managed well.
