Rye ahead of Corn is a big concern around here if we let it get much above 6" unless a person is setup with liquid fertilizer on the planter. Minimum of 10 gal of 28/32 along with some ATS is almost a must. Just out of curiosity did you make the decision to go with rye or was it someone else's suggestion?
