Thanks for all the replies! My plan is to plant sometime around the first of September, maybe put out some crimson clover with it. I should get a good 45-60 days growing before first frost so SS shouldn’t be to mature at that point. Then I will start grazing mid Nov/early Dec. time frame. I have so much trouble/cost involved in getting hay put up, I’m trying to minimize or completely get away from hay.
