NESD | To answer your questions,
#1 The tank does have a drain, it is the quick fill and it will drain the tank completely, of course there is still a small amount of chemical in the low spots in the plumbing but the tank is empty.
#2 I would have to say that most of the growers that I work with do not uncap the boom plumbing to rinse but do a triple rinse and spray out the rinsate rather than dumping it out of the tank, this fairly effectively rinses the booms, Occasionally I do see some chemical in the very ends of the booms but seldom do I see chemical burn in crops when switching from one chemical to another. Just depends on the operator. | |
