Interesting to hear your comment about being easier in small fields...I was considering going from 12 to 16 rows, but just getting all the equipment matched up now for 12...strip till, 90' sprayer, maybe going from 8 to 12 row head. So, I got to thinking about going to 24 instead of 16, but we have several small fields and only a few big ones. Smallest is 3.5, a few from 7 to 12, lots of 20's and 30's and then a few 40 to 100's. We do about 1100 acres of corn, about the same beans, but we use drills for beans.

How do you do your ends? 24 or 48? Did you have to modify lots of driveways to get in? How long is the wheel base? Would you make the switch with a majority of fields under 40 acres?
