Subject: RE: Chemical imbalance

Monroe City, Indiana
I was 22 years old and was six months out of graduating from Purdue when a drunk driver crossed the center line on the highway. I sustained multiple brain injuries- three areas of bleeding, widespread axon sheering, and extreme hypotension and hypoxia. Even after 30 years of therapy I still have a chemical imbalance. Yes, medication helped, but each one had its’ own side effects. It takes time to find the right medication and the right dose. Even over time the dosage will need to be changed. I finally quit the medications, but I also learned how to spot oncoming depression and stress. Use small accomplishments to feel good solving a problem and finishing a task. Look back on difficult times and remember that you made it through it. Use the positive times to get through the rough times. My email is good if you have questions. Good luck and best wishes.
