West of Lincoln a little bit
We recently ran the numbers to buy a piece, but at the going rate and Nebraska's prop taxes (and interest, we're not that flush with cash), the ROI basically matches a bond fund. What happens when corn prices drop? $5 corn not here forever... just seems crazy high. I'd rather round out the stock portfolio (index funds) and see how this plays out. At least with a stock/bond fund I can pull portions of money whenever I want. Still working toward our multi leg income stool... land, stocks, bonds, cash, Social security. My crystal ball is broken though. Nobody knows nuthin'.
