Mid Michigan
Some people can't get enough chaos and they seem to thrive on it. Others like a simple quiet life. I think I've fully transitioned to the later one. My goal is to have enough money to shelter me from materialism and chaos if that makes any sense. I'll give you a quick example without writing a book. My friends all tell me you NEED a 350 Legend or a 450 bushmaster to hunt field rats around here. Can get set up for about $400 bucks. Really? Went back to the deer shack and shot a buck with a 12 guage like every other year for most hunting seasons. I didn't get sucked into the 24 hour rush of buying something new to accomplish the same thing and have to work for another week to pay for 1 item over and over. If you think about it we actually have shortages of items nowdays because of people trying to fill a lonely void by purchasing things. It's a temporary high that doesn't last.
