S MN | Curious as to what others do with deer trim after a successful hunt. We have always frozen the trim and taken it to a local meat business later in the winter for grinding into burger (with beef or pork mixed) and deer sticks/ summer sausage. Son wants to try to do something with it himself this year. He has a Kitchen aid with a meat grinder attachment (never used the grinder yet) and a pretty nice smoker. Just looking for ideas/tips/recipe from other's experience. | |
