I think a lot of old guys have these same questions…
Looks pretty difficult to predict with much certainty what the outcome might or might not be going forward as screwed up as things currently look. But if had to guess crop input supply issues may not be as bad as what a lot of folks are fearing currently.
I tend to agree Coup. Many times in the past supply issue concerns have surfaced and been dealt with. I have never failed to be able to get what I needed in the way of fertilizer and pesticides. Might have paid a little more than normal or expected, but I got it. Also, at 1100 acres I’m an STO for this area and most years I buy from four to six retailers, so also not a situation where a dealer is taking care of a customer that does business exclusively with them. I will say these are unprecedented times we are experiencing, at least for me, so I guess anything is possible…..and would not surprise me.
