Markets response to the bearish government report I can see us going higher or lower. As far as fertilizer it all just depends because it’s quite a bit higher already than it was. As far as chemicals, if a guy can get some bought at the right price may be a good time to buy some but they may cheapen up later on too. Glyphosate especially is going to be volatile I think as are most other chemicals. Maybe buy some fertilizer now, then buy some more later in case it gets cheaper. Hopefully you got your fuel booked a little while back. A few things to keep an eye on…South American weather, China news (exports), transportation issues, strength of the dollar against other currencies, biofuels policy changes, any major weather events like this summer’s major nat drought. An early freeze could really hurt a lot of crop . Even though we haven’t heard much about that this year it probably has a better chance at shortening this years crop than the drought did. Weather has turned extremely wet in some places in recent hours so if that persists through an extended period of time it could cause crop loss from harvest delays. If they shut down the country because of covid again it could be even more disruptive and affect both purchases of inputs and grain sales so probably be wise to monitor that. Keep an eye on government reports too. Good luck!
