south dakota | You and your wife should not blame covid blame the higher ups in the facility and the politics. Doctors have means to treat covid but are told not to use thoes means that are working and instead given a list of “approved” treatments which are all things that make “big money” for the hospital and keep people there as patients generating more money It’s all about the money and while I don’t discount that your wife cares as my wife is also a nurse she and the patients are being used as a pawn in this covid game. It is hard though to not stay and give the beat care possible as a nurse but at some point you have to say no. Let them fire you they are already short how will you be replaced but you don’t know what they will do as too scared to lose job and goes back to the love to care for patients. At some point the patients and their family’s need to feel the pain of a shortage of nurses so that they start to complain it all can’t be on your wife’s shoulders to carry stand up for her and encourage her to fight for herself. There will always be patients she has this one chance to be with you and your kids. | |
