Wow, Clicker, what a mean, bitter attitude!

What's wrong with a family bringing in a son or daughter, or SIL/DIL to the farm, if there is room in the operation?
Yes, I think the new member of the team should "bring value". Many ways to do that. If you start up on your own, you get a "fresh, new maximum at FSA", so why shouldn't a new farmer in the family get the same treatment?

How do know the facts of so many families, to know the young person getting started has no clue? Many of them have been at Dad's side since they were old enough to walk, and have actual, useful farming knowledge that would put many to shame.

And how exactly can you possibly know who is paying for those "new vehicles"??? Maybe they have paid for them by having their own livestock or grain to sell. Maybe the farm business has a policy of furnishing owners and employees a vehicle to drive as part of their compensation package. So who are you to say that there is something wrong with that?

I better stop there before i say something i might later regret.

Rant ended. Have a good Day....
