Central Western VA Mountains | IMHO - sometimes newer equipment out paces older stuff and it gets retired (hopefully) to a barn. I bought an old New Holland 68 baler one time that while over 50 years old, probably hadn’t been used on 25 or 30 years. Faster balers than the old 68 and round balers render some of this old equipment as backups that are never used again. It is helpful that many of these old pieces of equipment are over built and often taken care of by the previous owner. |
