Corn pickers are not the best example. New Idea quit building them 40+ years ago and while I see an old Deere model 300 ad listing one as a 1987 model I doubt that date is accurate. Anyone that wants to pick ear corn doesn't have much choice other than a vintage machine.
Other than that type of obsolete (in the mainstream) technology a surviving machine of that age would have to be a good design to be useful today.
