| We shelled about 30 acres yesterday . While decent corn we were disappointed. Yield was ~ 35 bpa less than last year,moisture varied from 14.5 to a.most 30% with Tru KS averaging around 21% at the elevator. Good black ground was poorestthanks to 9' of rain in one week back in early July. Even too mu h for grid tile to handle. Lots of tar spot, Had a wind storm go thru a couple which put a lot down. Field has been COCsince 2012, this was the 2nd lowest yield during that span. Field was sprayed with fungicide.
