Some of the first fields coming in this area are disappointing…..to say the least.
 
Was talking to the local combine tech, guy called yesterday, “yield monitor seems broken, not reading right, send somebody out”.

Half hour later they called back to cancel the service call, they got a auger wagon out there with scale out to check things, the yield monitor was right. It was reading in the sub 100bu./acre range.

this is the area where 230-270 would be average yields.
