Funny you mention that. A long lost friend called yesterday asking for advice on raising the rent on her family's land. They were renting to a family friend who they thought was taking care of them. But his new "$90,000" pickup triggered her. IMO, she was too cheap already, but she's going to go up $100/ac. He still gets first offer, but she's already got two guys waiting in the wings that will take it if he doesn't.
