It's hardly having your cake and eating it too........it's more like a partial survival payment, at best...... And as far as having crop insurance, isn't that kind of what pp is? Trust me, I would much rather put a crop in the ground but if we haven't had significant rain in the next 2-4 weeks pp will be getting a serious look in this area
