It can be done in some areas. tmrand can chime in. I know his area of eastern CO can qualify some years.
I don’t think we have ever done it here. If your neighbors plant and get something up, they might make you ineligible.
PP pays less than multi peril but then if you don’t have inputs it’s only fair.
